After creating hundreds of black-and-white Light Being drawings, I’ve begun translating select pieces into paintings. This new process involves digitally transforming the original drawings—using colorizing programs, AI tools, Photoshop, and Procreate—to create vibrant reference images that guide each painting.
The Light Beings continue to evolve in meaning for me. More and more, they feel like symbols of renewal—of shedding what no longer serves and emerging brighter from the dark. Through these paintings, I stay connected to myself and find new ways to express authenticity through change.
These beings are shapeshifters. They don’t always reach the light easily—often, they grow through uncertainty and transition. They speak to resilience, rebirth, the quiet power of beginning again, and the clarity that can follow even the most challenging moments.
